Chamber Series
The GHS Bands will be hosting their own “Chamber Series” on February 15th and 16th. The festival will begin at 5:00 pm with solo & small ensemble performances occuring all in a 4-station performance venue.
Students will perform their solos for an adjudicating judge. Their performance will be critiqued and evaluated much like the solo & ensemble festival.
The “Chamber Series” is an open performance. Fellow students and families are encouraged to attend the performances. Students will be checking off their solos and ensembles in January. Please note that all GHS Band Students must attend one of the chamber series evenings and as an assignment, critique three performances. As part of their 3rd quarter performance requirement, all students must either perform a solo or ensemble at the chamber series or perform in a large choir at the Honor’s Recital.
